High-performance Hollow Glass Microspheres
The high-performance hollow glass microspheres is a kind of new and excellent-performance ultra-light material with hollow “ball-bearing” powder appearance. It tends to be the main stream of new compound materials in the 21st century. Its true density is 0.20-0.60g/cm3, and particle size is 2-125μm; Due to its excellent features of large bulk, high crush strength, good fluidity, low thermal conductivity and oil absorption ratio, it can be used as perfect filler in paint and coating, thermosetting plastics, FRP, SMC, and artificial marbles etc.. It’s also an excellent sensitizer of emulsion explosives to increase its storage time and improve its sensitivity and stability. In addition, making use of the feature of high crush strength and low true density in oil and gas extraction, it can be used to produce low-density cementing slurry and oil drilling fluid.
